Preschool

Comprehensive, Bilingual, and Personalized Education

The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten levels support each child’s development during the crucial stage of early childhood. From the 2-year-old class through the 5-year-old class, teaching practices foster autonomy, confidence, and social interaction. Each activity respects individual pace and enhances group learning, aiming to develop knowledge and social habits related to everyday life and the human and natural environment surrounding the children.

Playing holds a central role in this level, as it is the primary medium through which children learn during their early childhood. Through play, children express themselves, communicate with others, and build meaningful learning experiences in an enjoyable and authentic way. Artistic activities also enrich the educational experience and are an essential part of the school’s approach. Music, physical expression, visual arts, and literature stimulate their creativity, curiosity, sensitivity, and a love for learning.

  • The fully bilingual program exposes children to their native language and to English as well, intending to replicate the conditions of foreign language acquisition in bilingual contexts. This approach involves the joint and collaborative work of the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten teacher and the English teacher within shared projects focused on topics and contents that develop oral language skills through songs, games, children’s literature, classroom routines, and role-playing. The simultaneous and active presence of both teachers in the classroom ensures meaningful learning of the foreign language in real-life contexts.

  • The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Level views education as a shared responsibility with families. For this reason, it promotes open and ongoing communication based on dialogue, trust, and mutual support.

In this regard, the school encourages family participation in various activities throughout the academic year, fostering a close and sustained relationship between home and school.

  • During the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten level, children are encouraged to discover and explore space, observe and manipulate play objects, recognize their own bodies in motion, and engage in sports activities. Physical Education, together with the Outdoor Life Project, takes place once a week at the sports field, where recreational activities and physical skills are developed, along with shared snacks, in order to promote early engagement in sports, strengthen social bonds, and support overall well-being.
